NEGATIVE FORM + YET





We use the Word YET with the Past perfect tense to express that an action still had not happened when the other action happened or that an action still had not happened as cause of other past action.

Look at Goldilocks picture-story and read the examples.

·        When the bears arrived, Goldilocks hadn’t left yet.
·        Goldilocks looked for a bed because she hadn’t slept yet.

·        The bears were hungry because they hadn’t eaten yet.
